For over 25 years, I have been a photo educator in one form or another. Whether as a writer, adjunct professor or a workshop leader, I had shared my knowledge and experience with thousands of photographers with varying levels of experience.
However, there have been times when I am the student. And regardless of what I know, or think I know, there is always some insight to be gained when I am listening to another person sharing their knowledge and experience.

Craig Semetko is a Los Angeles based photographer known for the sense of humor running through his work. The foreword for his first book, UNPOSED, was written by Magnum Photos icon Elliott Erwitt, who wrote of Semetko “...he is the essential photographer. That is, the one who sees what others could not have seen.” Semetko was selected as one of 10 photographers worldwide to be a part of Leica Camera’s 10 x10 exhibition in honor of its 100 year anniversary and grand opening of its new manufacturing and cultural complex in May, 2014, in Wetzlar, Germany.
