Noah Stephens is an up-and-coming photographer who created a fascinating personal project focusing on the citizens of the city of Detroit. The resulting portraits provide a unique perspective on the people and the lives of that city and has provided this young photographer some unexpected opportunities. Inspired by what he saw as a distorted and skewed perspective of a city that he loves, he chose to use his camera to reveal people that call this iconic American city home. The People of Detroit series has provided him his first commercial assignments and helped launch his photographic career and will help serve as a great inspiration to many aspiring photographers.
