Ibarionex Profiled on the Adobe Lightroom Homepage

I am currently being profiled on the Adobe Lightroom Home page, which includes a video talking about my photography and The Candid Frame photography podcast.  It was filmed last last year in one of my favorite places to photograph, Downtown Los Angeles. It was a long but fun day and I got to share it with some of my favorite fellow photographers he graciously joined me. I am very honored to be acknowledged in such a way, especially around a product that I really believe in and that has made such a big difference in my photography. Ibarionex Perello & Jerod Foster at PSW

Jerod Foster and Ibarionex Perello will take the stage together today at Photoshop World in Las Vegas. They will be speaking at the Peachpit Booth at 4pm to have a candid discussion about photography, seeing and creating image using their own images as examples. The Candid Frame #149 - Mike Moats

Mike Moats is an award winning, professional nature photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. Her started as a hobbyist in 2001 but it quickly grew into a full time business. He  has published articles and images in Outdoor Photographer Magazine, PC Photo Magazine, Natures Best Magazine, Nature Photographer Magazine, Photolife and Tamron’s “Angle of View” Blog. He has won numerous local and international awards, and in 2006 was asked to join the Fuji Pro Talent Team and in 2009 was added to the Tamron Lenses website as one of their ”Macro Masters”. In 2006 he started offering Close-Up/Macro Photography Workshops. He is also a moderator of the macro gallery at www.naturephotographers.net. New Year! New Podcast! New Format! Focus Ring is Back!

The Candid Frame Photography podcast is a member is The Photocast Network, a loose confederation of podcasts both in English, Spanish and German, all on the topic of photography. It's a great resource for some interesting and engaging shows on our favorite pastime.

We even have our own podcast, but the production of this had been pretty infrequent. So, now I've brought it back with a new format and a new idea.

Four photographers join the conversation with two of their own images to discuss a single topic. I think it will provide an opportunity to turn the conversation from equipment and software, to....wait for it...photographs. What a concept!

The first episode focus on "Shadow and Light" and brings together Jeff Curto (History of Photography & Lens Position), Chris Marquardt (Tips from the Top Floor), Martin Bailey and myself, Ibarionex Perello (The Candid Frame). If we get a good response to the show and format, I intend to continue producing the program once a month. Let me know what you think.
